| We have begun learning about multiplication. We will be moving into memorizing the multiplication facts, please be quizzing your student at home helping them to learn their facts quicker. It was brought to my attention that my calendar for the spelling words was different then the student copy. I apologize for the mix up and this week we are back on track with the schedule. The students who passed the test last week will not need to take the test this week. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Reading tip of the week... Reading tip of the week... Keep it fun, for everyone. Keep your kids involved by asking questions about the story, and let them fill in the blanks. | · AUCTION: We already have a lot of stickers and small items. If possible pleas bring in larger items for the basket. We are also having a quilt made as well as making a crayon melting picture and wind chimes. There will be more for the third grade parents to choose from. · AR: Please continue to encourage your students to take home and read their AR books. As Well as remember to take the test in class. · 100 OBJECTS: Please send a bag of 100 objects with your student. This may be pennies, pom-poms, paper clips, etc. This will be used for multiplication. · MULTIPLICATION: The students will be working on taking timed tests of one minute working their way up from multiples of 0 to multiples of 10. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
